１，Activities
We are ONELIFE organization.
We are an organization that builds elementary schools and supports education in Cambodia. We have built 3 elementary schools. The first school was Ronchuck Elementary School, the second school was Comoha Elementary School, and the third school was Carbon Elementary School in 2020. Last year, we sent books, textbooks and balls to Cambodia. This is called a mission and sets a volunteer goal for the executives for the year.
ONE LIFE is in its 8th year and currently has 80 members.
Why are we providing educational support to Cambodia? Because there are many children who cannot study. For example, the school is far away or child is working. In Japan, there is no situation where we can’t do it even if we want to study. We want to create a place where children can study.
The second reason for supporting Cambodia is that it is related to elementary schools and orphanages. Our support is not just once.

２，Events
We need funds to sent books clothes or build school. We have two ways to raise funds.
The first is event revenue. The second is fund-raising activities. The event purpose is not only to make money, but also to spread our activities. We hold events about three times a year, and all the money we get will be used to support Cambodia. We have held survival competitions, drive in theaters and club events.
Also, we raise funds every Wednesday in Shinjuku. I think that it can also be a bridge between Cambodia and Japan. Because we don’t have the opportunity to think about Cambodia in Japan.
３，attractions
There are two attractions. The first is smile activities make smiles. It’s a give-and-take relationship. In Cambodia, children enjoy their lives with smiles every day. I have a bright and free heart. We can be happy to see the smile. We are not just helping.
In addition, Participants can be entertained at the events we hold. Our smile activities can create smile. Because these are leading to support.
The second attraction is all the members are like a family. We have a meeting every Wednesday, but we do it all year round. For example, New Year holidays.
４，Coronavirus influence， Future activities
I have never been to Cambodia. But ONE LIFE go to Cambodia as ”study tour” twice a year. If we go to there, we play with local children or go sightseeing.
Recently, however, we cannot visit due to the influence of the coronavirus. Still, I’m thinking about what I can do without quitting volunteer. Now we’re talking to Cambodian children online. We’re talking about the current situation and what’s missing.
It is also difficult to hold events, which are the main of activities. So, we hold an event for Corona. For example, online events and drive in theaters.
Volunteers have no correct answer. Some volunteer groups are happy to build only. However, we continue to be involved with the elementary schools we have built. We want to hear the voice of Cambodia and support local needs.
Schools in Cambodia are closed due to the coronavirus, including ONE LIFE school. We will continue to do our best to do what we can. And when the And when the situation improves, I want to go to Cambodia! I want to meet children!
