Shinjuku

Shinjuku is the most famous place in Tokyo for entertainment, shopping and business. There are numbers of places to visit in Shinjuku such as Kabukicho, robot restaurant or many department stores such as Isetan.

There are 2 drinking areas in Shinjuku. One is the most famous drinking area in Tokyo, “Golden Gai.” It is a small district in Kabukicho. There are more than 200 izakayas and eateries in this small area. Many tourists are drinking here so it is easy to get in.

Another drinking area in Shinjuku is “Omoide Yokocho.” It is an old fashioned area filled with izakaya.

Shibuya is another place every tourists visit. There is the famous Shibuya crossing, there are nightclubs and there are thousands of drinking places.

“Nonbei Yokocho” is the famous drinking place in Shibuya. It does not look like Shibuya at all. Old lanterns will welcome you at the entrance of the street.

Kichijoji

Kichijoji is the most wanted town where people want to live and it is about 15 to 20 minutes by train from both Shinjuku and Shibuya.

“Harmonica Yokocho” is located in front of Kichijoji station. There are about 100 shops, bars and eateries in few narrow streets. In the evening, there are shops and restaurants but at night, it becomes a drinking area.
