What is 100-yen shop?

100-yen shop is the retail store, which sells all products for 100 yen. However, it isn’t actually 100 yen. It isn’t including tax so added tax to 100 yen after tax increase although we call it 100-yen shop. Therefore, there is not it exactly despite a 100-yen shop. However, the word has caught on with Japanese people because the sound of word is good. “It is a 100-yen shop without tax” if I say definitely. It is similar to 1-dollar shop. We usually call 100-yen shop “Hyakkinn”. It is the abbreviation for “100 yen flat rate” in Japanese. They sell stationaries, cosmetics, foods, all daily necessities and so on. However, 100-yen shops have many kind of 100 yen shops in Japan. So I’m going to introduce about three kinds of 100 yen shops in Japan which I recommended.
