At first, the answer to this question is bad. There are various types of wax, and different waxes are suitable depending on the length of hair and the type of hair you want to set. Please see the photo below. The vertical axis shows the gloss and the horizontal axis shows the strength of the set force. Today I would like to introduce three different waxes.
Performance of gloss move wax
This is a gloss move wax. It is glossy 10 set power 4. You can express a fluffy airy bunch with a moisturizing feel like gel. The setting power is not so strong, so it is not recommended for those who want to keep their hair standing.
Performance of wet blast wax
This is a wet blast wax. It is glossy 8 set power 12. It has a wet feel and strong setting power, so you can freely manipulate the tufts of hair. It is recommended for people with long hair as it is easy to set! However, as with gloss move wax, it has a very glossy feel, so it is not recommended for those who do not like to look wet.
Performance of hard blast wax
This is a hard blast wax. It is glossy 4 set power 12. This wax has a stronger setting power than other waxes. It is recommended for people with short hair. You can create a lot of bunch, but it will harden quickly, so we recommend setting it as soon as possible.

it is a good idea to mix two styling agents!A common method is to mix gel and wax. Gel has the characteristics of having a strong setting power and wet and glossy feeling. It has excellent keeping power, but once set, it is difficult to fix it with water. Compared to gel, wax has the feature that you can freely move the tips of the hair and feel the bundle, and you can also set it again. By mixing and using these two, you can get the luster and keeping power of the gel and the ease of moving the wax at the same time, and it will be easier to style. You will be able to cover both shortcomings.

When you mix wax and wax, you must mix them so that you can take advantage of each other’s strengths. Therefore, the mixing ratio is also important. If you only hard wax, the tips of your hair will become dull, so if you want a little texture, I think that you should add a glossy wax. Be careful not to add too much wax, as it will make the hair heavy and make it difficult to set. I think the basic ratio is 1:1.
My favorite wax
I am using the hard blast wax and wet blast wax that I introduced, and the free hard wax that I couldn’t introduce. To put it lightly, the setting power of free hard wax is a little weaker than hard blast wax, so it is good that it does not become too stiff. I have long hair and I have straight hair since I was child, so when setting, I use a curling iron to make the shape and then use wax. Recently, I am using a mixture of hard blast wax and wet blast wax, and I have a styling that gives a wet feeling in addition to strong setting power. When lowering and setting the bangs, it is recommended that you apply wax to the middle of the hair as a whole and knead it to put only the tips on the bangs.
