You may have seen this board game before. The rules of this game are simply the same as those of the 〇✕ game, which I’m sure everyone has played before.
However, this game is a little more advanced. You have three types of pieces: large, medium and small. If you use the large pieces, you can put your pieces on top of your opponent’s pieces.
The simple rules make it easy for anyone to play, and the deep strategic nature of the game is sure to get anyone hooked!
２ A cooperative board game that can be enjoyed by a large group of people
The next board game I would like to introduce is called ito.
This game is a cooperative board game that can be played by two to ten players. I love this game so much that I never miss playing it when I get together with a lot of friends.
In this game, you have to predict the value of each other’s numbers and get the numbers right in ascending order.
The interesting part of this game is that when you predict the numbers on each other’s cards, each of you exemplifies your own numbers according to the theme. For example, if the theme is the size of an animal, the person with the larger number might compare it to a whale, the person with the smaller number to an ant, and so on.

Have you ever heard of werewolf games? A werewolf game is a game where you take on the role of a werewolf and try to trick the people around you to help your camp win. There is a board game that is an evolved version of the werewolf game that is becoming a hot topic.
The name of the game is Murder Mystery.
The best part about this game is that each scenario can basically only be played once.
The rules are similar to those of a werewolf game, but the biggest difference is that each character has a story and the ending will change depending on who we choose as the culprit.
The tension of only being able to play once, and the depth of the scenario are all things that will surely get you hooked.

I’ve introduced several board games so far. However, trying to buy board games can be expensive, and it’s hard to find a place to gather and play. So, the last thing I would like to introduce is an Internet site called Board Game Arena.
Here, you can play a lot of board games for free just by registering as a member. And if you pay 675 yen per month, you can play all the board games you want. There is also an easy to understand tutorial for first time players, so it is recommended for beginners.
